Peachy

Three local farms, one basket, one delivery.

Peachy is a grocery marketplace for fruit, vegetables, eggs and bread from three family farms near the city. Shoppers fill one basket from all three farms, and the order arrives the next day in a two-hour slot. I designed the Peachy mobile app, web app and website.

The challenge

Farm-fresh food, without the trip to the farm.

People like buying straight from local farms, but few have time to visit three of them every week. Peachy brings the farms into one shop. The product had to keep the trust of a farm stand and work like a grocery app.

The approach

A farm stand that works like a grocery app.

I built every screen around three questions shoppers ask: where is this from, when will it arrive, and what will it cost?

  1. 01

    The farm on every product.

Each product card names its farm and rating, and every farm has its own page with its story, practices and shop. Shoppers can browse by aisle or by farm.

  2. 02

    The delivery promise up front.

The next slot leads the home page, and a strip above the cart shows how much more unlocks free delivery. The 10 pm cut-off appears wherever a choice depends on it.

  3. 03

    One basket, sorted by farm.

The basket groups items by farm and keeps one total and one delivery. One switch decides what happens if something sells out: swap it for the best match from the same farm.

In action

A week of groceries from three farms.

BROWSE AND ADD

From aisle to basket in a few taps.

Home opens on the next delivery slot. Shoppers pick an aisle, compare price per kilo and the farm on each card, and add with the square plus. The product page shows sizes, the farm and when it was picked.

Three Peachy app screens: the home page with tomorrow's delivery slot and aisle tiles, the fruit and vegetables aisle with product cards from each farm, and the Honeycrisp apples product page with size options

BASKET TO DOOR

One checkout, one delivery.

The basket groups items by farm under one total. Checkout asks for three things: address, slot and payment. After the order, a live status shows each step from the farms to the door.

ON THE WEB

From basket to My orders on desktop.

Shoppers add from the aisle and see the basket panel update straight away. The basket drawer groups items by farm, checkout fits on one page with the order summary in view, and My orders shows today's delivery next to past orders to reorder.

THE WEBSITE

Every page tells one clear story.

The website explains Peachy to new visitors: the promise and an address check on the home page, how next-day delivery works and where it reaches, the three farms, a page for new farm partners and a help centre.

A local farm order that's easy to trust.

I designed the Peachy mobile app, web app and website: shopping by aisle or by farm, one basket across three farms, checkout and delivery tracking, and the pages that explain how it works.
