GETTING STARTED
A plan that fits from day one.
Four short questions set the member's level, goals, training days and body measurements. Apple Health can fill in the numbers, and the first workout is ready on Home.
Health & fitness · Mobile Apps
The member app for an AI-powered gym.
Next! Fitness is a gym where members train in front of smart mirrors that show each exercise, count reps and check form. I designed the member app, where people set their goals, follow each workout and see their progress.

The challenge
The mirrors track every set on their own. The app had to turn that into something members can act on before, during and after a workout.

Reps, weight, form and activity pile up fast. Members need to know what to do next, not read a report.

The same app serves people lifting for the first time and athletes training five days a week. Plans and starting weights have to fit both.

Strength builds slowly. Members need to see progress week to week, or the habit fades.
The approach
I designed the member app around a single training loop. Each screen has one job and points to the next.
Home opens on today's session, with the month's activity and achievements below it. Nobody has to search for what to do.
During a set the screen shows one counter, the weight and the set number. The mirror counts the reps, so the member can focus on lifting.
Workout summaries, personal records, badges and team challenges turn each session into a visible step forward.

GETTING STARTED
Four short questions set the member's level, goals, training days and body measurements. Apple Health can fill in the numbers, and the first workout is ready on Home.
IN THE SESSION
The plan lists every move with its sets, reps and weight, grouped into supersets. Once a set starts, the screen narrows to the count, then rest, then a summary and any new record.
PROGRESS OVER TIME
Day, week and month views put activity in context. Badges for weight lifted, miles run and calories burned mark long-term milestones, and History keeps every session.

TEAM AND REWARDS
Members join a team with shared challenges, invite friends for a free week and spend the coins they earn in the store.

Design language
Next! yellow marks the one thing to do on each screen. Poppins keeps numbers clear at a glance, and the illustrated badges and muscle diagrams give the app its character.

I designed the UX/UI of the Next! Fitness member app across the whole journey, from sign-up to the workout floor to long-term progress, so an AI-powered gym feels simple to use, session after session.
