ProprHome

Every deal, listing and client in one calm place.

ProprHome is a platform for real estate agents in Portugal. It brings an agent's deals, listings and clients together, with a community where agents share market updates, open houses and ideas. I designed the agent web app, from the home screen to the community.

The challenge

An agent's work is spread across too many places.

Agents in Portugal juggle buyers, sellers, banks and notaries, mostly by phone, WhatsApp and email. Their listings sit on several portals at once. The app had to gather that work in one place and still be quicker than a WhatsApp chat.

The approach

Show the next step, everywhere.

I designed every screen to answer one question for a busy agent: what needs me now?

  1. 01

One calm home for the day.

The home screen opens on live listings, deals and new requests, with today's tasks and the next closing dates beside them. A light band in ProprHome's colours keeps the key numbers together.

  2. 02

Every deal shows its next step.

A deal moves through five stages, from offer made to exchange. Its page shows where it is, which documents are ready, and the one thing to do next, like booking the notary.

  3. 03

    Content that brings clients.

Agents write posts with a listing attached, choose who sees them, and track the views and leads each post brings. The most engaged posts each week appear on proprhome.com.

In action

A Friday with John McCoy, agent in Cascais.

START THE DAY

See what needs you first.

John opens ProprHome to 31 live sales listings, 48 rentals and 6 live deals, with four new requests waiting. His three tasks for the day and the next closing dates sit beside his listings.

CLOSE A DEAL

From mortgage approved to a date at the notary.

Robinett's bank letter arrived this morning. John opens the deal from the pipeline, replies to Robinett, and books the exchange with the buyer, the seller and the bank in one step.

MATCH HOMES AND BUYERS

Put the right home in front of the right buyer.

Luan's House in Porto already has five viewings and an offer. John books one more for Sofia, a buyer from Idealista, then sends her a flat on Rua das Flores that came in today.

SHARE AND GROW

Turn what you know into new clients.

In the community, John answers Lita, who is looking for a family home in Birre, writes a market update on Porto with a listing attached, schedules it for Monday morning and checks which posts brought him leads.

Design language

Calm white space, with a glass ribbon of mint.

White cards on a soft grey canvas keep long lists easy to read. The summary band carries a glass ribbon in the logo's mint, teal and cyan. Inter keeps the numbers clear, and four plain tags tell sale, sold, rental and rented apart.

One place for the whole sale.

I designed the UX/UI of ProprHome's agent web app: the home screen, deals, listings, contacts and the community. Every screen is designed to show an agent what to do next, and to keep buyers, sellers, banks and notaries up to date.
